Es Castell Sea Front with boatts & bar/restaurant in forground
Es Castell is a small, relaxing village with a Bohemian flavour, proud of its British ancestry situated on the gently-sloping east coast, some 3km south of Mahon.
Es Castell has two inlets to the Port of Mahon - Calas Fons is popular with a wide choice of restaurants built into the rock, Cala Corp has Es Cau bar, where Minorcans sing their traditional songs. There is also the famous drag show in the Bar Salon, just off the main square.
Beaches and Sightseeing
There are no beaches in Es Castell itself but there's a small sandy beach at nearby Cala Padera.
