Calas De Mallorca, Majorca (Mallorca), Balearic Islands, Spain

Calas De Mallorca

A very popular small resort with 3 beautiful beaches.

A cliff path follows much of the shore, with sweeping views out to sea. Just along the coast is the natural harbour of Porto Cristo, one of the few Majorcan towns where tourism comes second. The Caves of Drach are just minutes away from the sandy beach. Head south and you will find the quaint, sleepy, village of Porto Colom popular with Spanish tourists.

Calas de Mallorca is a modern, self-contained resort with a spectacular setting, notable for the fine views from the lofty path clinging to the cliffs. It is located on the south east coast of the island, only 45km from Palma.

Playa Domingo is the main beach, or you can dip into one of the delightful small, sandy coves nearby. There is a sandy beach just along the coast at Porto Cristo.

Good shops can be found at Porto Cristo.

There are a variety of bars and a few discos, while the hotel-based nightlife is lively without being raucous.

Local Specialities

There are restaurants in the resort serving local dishes, or you can visit Porto Cristo where several terrace restaurants overlook the harbour.
