Main Bus Stations & Bus Stops

Ibiza Island Bus Station Information

The 3 main bus stations on Ibiza are

• Ibiza town (Eivissa),
• San Antonio (San Antoni)
• Santa Eularia.

The three centres have connecting routes and 99% of destinations on Ibiza can be reached from one of these centres. This means that 99% of destinations can be either reached directly or with one change of bus.

Most other towns have bus stops.

• San Antonio is the only true Bus Station on the island.

Ibiza Town Bus Station

• The Eivissa Bus Stations are now bus stops located on Av. Isidoro Macabich which runs roughly parrallel to the Figuretas sea front and approximatly 600 metres from it.
• They were called bus stations because there used to be bus ticket shops next to the stops. These have closed and you now buy tickets on the bus in cash, largest note accepted is 20 euro, but better to have change or smaller notes. Due to Covid this may have changed to cards.
  
• Av. Isidoro Macabich is a long one way street with buses heading out of Ibiza Town
  • There are 4 Bus stops along the street, well spaced out
  • Each bus stop caters to a different group of bus routes
• Buses into Ibiza Town return along Av. de Espanya, also runs roughly parrallel to the Figuretas sea front and approximatly 300 metres from it.

  Walking to Figuretas from Ibiza Bus Stations

  The easiest route is to walk uphill along Av. Isidoro Macabich for 1 block after Parc de la Pau (Pau Park) then turn left onto C.de Murcia contiue straight on along C Ramon Muntaner until it curves to the left then turn right to the sea front near Figuretas Square . Alternativly you can walk through the very neat park, at the T junction at far end you nead to move 1 block to your right to reach C.de Murcia

  The Es Canor Bus stop is located on the main road from Santa Eularia & Sant Carles around 100 metres from Es Canar beach on the opposite side of the road from the La Perla hotel, Mar y Herta hotel and the Apache cafe bar.

  A Car park, taxi rank and tourist information kiosk are located very near the bus stop.

  There are several Playa d' en Bossa (Platja d' en Bossa) and Es Viver bus stops roughly 300 to 500 metres apart that run along the road to the rear of sea front properties.

  The names of these roads starting at Figueretas end are Av. Pere Matutes Noguera, C.de la Murta, Ctra. de Platja d' en Bossa & C. ciutat de Mallorca

  The Portinatx Bus Stop is located along side the main road near to the eastern end of Portinatx beach on the opposite side of the road to the beach and taxi rank.

  Use this stop for

  • Salinas beach (Playa de las Salinas). A very beautiful and extremly popular beach for groups, families and couples .
  • Es Cavallet (Platja des Cavallet) Gay beach. The best gay beach and gay nude beach in Europe equalling Maspalomas gay beach in Gran Canaria.

  For the hetrosexual official nude beach you require the bus stop before the terminus stop, near to where the salt pans are on both sides of the road

  San Antonio Bus Station

  

  A very modern bus station that has a space station look to its roof.

  The bus station is located in Calle Paris which runs north from the corner where the San Antonio marina meets the San Antonio beach.

  The Port San Miguel Bus Stops are on the side road that turns right off the main road to the beach in Port San Miguel around 1000 metres from the beach.

  The side road heads uphill towards the Cave, San Miguel hotel & Hotel Club Galeon. There is a bus stop at the junction of the 2 roads and additional bus stops are near to the hotels

  Santa Eularia Bus Station

  The Santa Eularia Ticket office is located 6 blocks inland from the beach in C. Inglesia. The Bus Stops are located in the dual carriage way road with a car park in the centre that runs at 90 degrees from C. Inglesia .  Tour buses use the other carriageway to drop off & pick up there passengers.

  As a guide it is just to the East of Puig de Missa, the hill with the church on top

  The portacabin style building with ticket office. toilets and a take away cafe is located on the corner.

A very useful circular bus service carried out by the IbizaBus, which is much smaller bus than the normal bus service buses, but larger than a standard mini van. Because of it's size it goes can enter Dalt Vila, Ibiza towns old walled city
