Video of Cala Mondrago
Intro
Cala Mondrago is in a beautiful, secluded bay on the south coast. Very quiet, the wooded countryside rolls right down to the beach, giving the resort an almost desert island atmosphere.
The beautiful scenery and quiet, relaxed atmosphere provide ideal surroundings for an evening drink in a beachside cafe listening to the gentle lapping of the waves. There are a couple of livelier bars where background music replaces the sound of the tide and the sangria flows until late.
Beaches and Sightseeing
The delightful tree-lined beach is in a secluded cove and is over 200 yards wide. It does tend to fill up with visitors from other resorts and can be busy in high season.
Local Cuisine & Evenings Out
Cala Mondrago has a small selection of intimate tavernas where stunning views and peacefulness are usually served as a side order. Alternatively, take a 5 min taxi ride to neighbouring Porto Petro where a wider choice of restaurants and bars are available.
